Berthbell uses open-licence public data only. Where a source needs credit, it is listed here.
- Digitraffic (Fintraffic, Finland): vessel positions and port calls in Finnish waters. Licence CC BY 4.0. Coverage is limited to those waters.
- GeoNames: port names and locations. CC BY 4.0.
- Wikidata: port identifiers. CC0.
- Your own uploads: carrier ETAs and shipment details you enter. They stay in your workspace.
Limits you should know
- There is no worldwide live ship tracking in Berthbell, and no live tracking for Indian ports.
- Late flags come from models that are in testing. No accuracy figure is claimed until enough live results are measured.
- Always confirm with the carrier before acting on cutoffs or cargo release.
